pepperBaby, it’s cold outside! A simple winter weather beauty tip to beat the cold is to add cayenne to your beauty routine.

Just like you can add heat to your food with cayenne, you can also add heat your lotion to keep warm. The powerful heating property of cayenne peppers and all other hot peppers is due to a substance they contain called capsaicin.

Capsaicin has been shown to stimulate blood circulation and leave the skin with sensation of warmth.  Cayenne powder can be added to your favorite lotion in order to employ the benefits of capsaicin. If you prefer using all-natural items, use this recipe to whip up a creamy lotion in which cayenne can be added.  This easy recipe will keep you moisturized and toasty warm.
