Imagine if you never again had to purchase pads or tampons. Imagine that all you needed were your panties to provide protection, and that getting them would be as easy as getting any pantie from online lingerie boutiques. A company called THINX is revolutionizing that time of the month with an innovative concept – panties for periods! It sounds too good to be true. But this is real and according to the many raves and reviews, it really works!
The particular dilemmas women face during that time of the month is not just one of those first world problems. In fact, the effects of these dilemmas on young women in developing countries was the inspiration behind this product. 94% of girls in Uganda report having problems at school due to menstruation and many drop out of school.
There are currently more than 100 million girls not attending school due to their menstrual cycle. The creators of THINX wanted to facilitate a world where no woman was held back because of her body.
The result is a special type of panties for menstruation that could possibly make pads and tampons a thing of the past. The patented technology (called THINX QuadTECH®) is made up of four ultra-thin micro-layers that absorb and protect. The lining is also treated with an anti-microbial application of silver to fight bacteria.

The most amazing thing is that THINX panties can hold up to 2 tampons worth of liquid depending on the style you choose. The various styles include: Thong (for light days), Cheeky (for medium days), and Hiphugger (for heavy days).
I am definitely intrigued and will be giving these a try. Visit THINX online for more information and to shop for THINX panties.
Wow, this sounds too good to be true almost :-O The only issue that I have with this is that the blood actually leaves the body. I don’t think I could stand that feeling. I can’t wear pads for that reason. I always wear tampons.
I was thinking the same thing! All of the reviews from people that have tried them have all been very positive. I’m definitely going to give it try because I’m so curious with how it works. I’ll have to give an update once I get a hands-on experience with them. Thanks for checking out my post 🙂
Wondering if you’ve given these a try yet. Would love to hear your review
Hi Minden. I have not tried them out for myself yet. I have placed an order for a few pair. I will definitely post follow up once I have a first-hand experience with them. Thanks so much for visiting my blog 🙂
